National Caramel Month

When Amanda Henke was pregnant, she was craving caramels like crazy and wanted to make them at home using natural ingredients. After many attempts to make caramels in her own kitchen, she was introduced to Annie B’s, a company that has been making handcrafted caramels and popcorn in small batches since 1978. The caramels were so delicious and the timing was so perfect, that Amanda and her husband purchased the company in 2013. Now, Annie B’s can be found in retailers across all 50 states.

Annie B’s is a small, family-owned caramel company with a 30 year tradition of making delicious handcrafted caramels and popcorn. Each individually wrapped caramel is made using simple, local ingredients like brown sugar, water, corn starch, butter, corn syrup, sweetened condensed milk, inverted sugar and natural flavor. The result is absolutely scrumptious caramels. Annie B’s caramel is slow cooked in copper pots through small-batch cooking. Each piece is handcrafted with the exception of cutting and wrapping of the caramels. Prices start at $3.99.
