Sister 2 Sister Celebrates 25 Years!

After a quarter of a century in the business, publisher Jamie Brown and many of her celebrity friends came out to join in the festivities celebrating 25 years of ground-breaking journalism of Sister 2 Sister Magazine.

For 25 years, Sister 2 Sister has been bringing entertainment news directly to its largely African-American fan base with a monthly publication, website ( and events. Published by Founder Jamie Foster Brown, it has a readership of 500,000 adults, most of whom are women. The magazine runs a roughly 70/30 mix of celebrity and lifestyle articles.

Celebrity guests who helped Sister 2 Sister celebrate in style included  five-division World Champion Boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr., Laura Govan (Basketball Wives), Grammy Award Winners Kenneth “Babyface“ Edmonds, Toni Braxton and Deniece Williams, R&B singers KEM and K.
