The Knot at New York Bridal Fashion Week

The Knot, the leading wedding brand and marketplace, continues its tradition of providing behind-the-scenes, front-row access and immediate coverage of the runway fashion shows during New York Bridal Fashion Week, October 4 to 11, 2017. The Knot will share live, real-time video through Facebook Live and Instagram Stories, plus image galleries, fashion trend articles and backstage designer interviews through editorial content on Front Row to Fashion. The Knot also continues to host the largest bridal trade show, connecting more than 150 designers with retailers at The Knot Couture Show.

Front Row to Fashion on TheKnot.com, presented by Maggie Sottero, will feature image galleries and videos from the top runway shows; backstage interviews with renowned designers such as Ines Di Santo, Reem Acra, Pronovias, Matthew Christopher and more; hair and makeup tutorials; trend reports; must-read articles about finding a wedding dress; answers to the most frequently asked wedding gown questions; and photo galleries of current gown styles. Once inspired, brides can discover and connect with the best local bridal salons in their area on The Knot Marketplace. Brides who visit TheKnot.com/frontrow will also have the chance to win a wedding dress from Maggie Sottero.

In addition to providing a behind-the-scenes look at Bridal Fashion Week, The Knot is connecting designers with retailers at The Knot Couture Show. The largest bridal fashion trade show of its kind, The Knot Couture Show engages, matches and connects the bridal industry by bringing together top wedding gown designers and retail buyers for a first look at the latest collections. From October 7 to 8 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and October 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., bridal brands will exhibit at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, NYC and Metropolitan West located in Midtown West, NYC. Those showing at the Metropolitan Pavilion include Maggie Sottero, Watters, Mon Cheri, Casablanca, Jasmine, Justin Alexander, Allure, KittyChen Couture, Ashdon Brands and more. Rosa Clará, Eve of Milady, Jesús Peiró, Randy Fenoli, Mark Zunino, Ian Stuart, Sassi Holford, House of Mooshki and more will be featured at Metropolitan West. This year will feature runway shows by Maggie Sottero, Watters, Enzoani and Casablanca.

Celebrating the professionals that make the wedding industry possible, The Knot Gala continues its reign as the crowning event of New York Bridal Fashion Week on October 9. Hosted annually at the historic New York Public Library with more than 1,000 attendees, this private event brings together top wedding professionals from across the country, joined by celebrity friends and fans of The Knot. The Knot selects some of its favorite wedding professionals to show off their talents and help create The Knot Gala with exciting, never-before-seen wedding details and entertainment. This year’s theme, developed by Emily Clarke Events, is A Midsummer Night’s Dream—a magical and mystical party full of surprising entertainment, from LED ballerinas to woodland creatures. Guests will enjoy a formal portrait lounge, a champagne and rosé bar, a culinary experience that will delight all senses, a live floral wall, musical entertainment and environmental projection—all taking place inside an enchanted forest.
