If men are from Mars and women are from Venus, is it possible for us to peacefully coexist here on Earth?  Sassy actress Mae West probably summed it up best when she said, “Opportunity knocks for every man, but you have to give a woman a ring.”  It’s absolutely true: men and women’s thoughts, dreams and priorities are as different as night and day.  But that truth doesn’t have to be a bad thing.  In fact, it only becomes a source of contention when we fail to acknowledge, accept and respect each other’s differences.

In our ongoing effort to bridge cultural gaps and deepen our understanding of life’s great unknowns, Wiles Magazine is excited to present to you the June 2012 installment of “The Daddy Issue” – our annual salute to the opposite sex!

In keeping with that mission, this month’s Fashion & Beauty section is packed with coverage of some of the hottest menswear designers currently burning up the catwalks in London.

Fans of soulful singers like Robin Thicke will be delighted by our Arts & Entertainment feature on Jazz/R&B musician Brian Culbertson.  And our review of the new Andy Garcia-starrer For Greater Glory will give you insight into the fight for religious freedom in Mexico -The Cristero War-as depicted in an unforgettable film released at the beginning of this month.

You’ll definitely want to become a part of the conversation as we delve into some common issues relating to men’s sexual performance in our Health & Wellness section.  And in this month’s installment of “What He Wants” Drew Allen urges us to take an honest look at some relationship woes that may actually spring from our own “Daddy Issues.”

Our signature “Wiles in TV Land” feature is back with a nostalgic look at some of our absolute favorite “Prime Time Papas.”  And our cover story is a “Mr. Right” pictorial salute to some of the most generous celebrity men from the worlds of entertainment and sports!

In today’s culture, the “Battle of the Sexes” conversation is a popular and ongoing one.  Here at Wiles, we’d rather promote the notion of a “Balance of the Sexes.” Without questions, we love being Wiles women and we’re proud to showcase men who truly wear their manhood as a badge of honor.
