‘1883’ AT NATIONAL COWGIRL MUSEUM AND HALL OF FAME

1883 Cast Opens Exclusive Exhibit Based on Hit Series

Yesterday, at the NATIONAL COWGIRL MUSEUM AND HALL OF FAME in FORT WORTH TEXAS1883 creator Taylor Sheridan opened a special exhibition featuring costumes, photography and props from the new hit Paramount+ series 1883. The exhibit, 1883: The Journey West, which opens to the public February 11th will allow visitors to get up close with props, costumes and photography from the record-breaking Paramount+ series 1883. The honorary event and exhibit was created by the museum in partnership with 101 Studios, Visit Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Film Commission.

Cast members from 1883 including Isabel May (Elsa Dutton) Eric Nelsen (Ennis), Gratiela Brancusi (Noemi), and Dawn Olivieri (Claire Dutton) were in attendance at  the opening of the exhibit along with series creator Taylor Sheridan, David Glasser (101 Studios CEO)  Nicole Sheridan, (Board Member, National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame) Mayor Mattie Parker , Mitch Whitten, (COO of Visit Fort Worth).

“1883” follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. It is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land – Montana.

The exhibit opens February 11th and will run through March 21, 2022 at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame- Fort Worth Texas.
