Grab your cereal box fascinator, polish your silver and get ready to be a part of the wedding of the year! On May 19, Canadians from coast-to-coast will wake up early to revel in the splendor of the Royal Wedding – the ceremony, the dress and of course, the kiss. To mark this blessed event, Kellogg’s* has partnered with former Royal Chef Darren McGrady and fashion designer Kelly Dempsey to create a cereal-centric breakfast menu and DIY crafts. It all works in harmony to add a posh twist to every Royal Wedding Viewing Party or majestic occasion.

Kellogg’s is a proud royal warrant holder meaning the Company has had the privilege to be the official cereal provider of the royal household for three monarchs. For the ultimate morning event of the year, Kellogg’s is providing custom, regal-inspired recipes and sharing how-to instructions to make a unique cereal box fascinator.  And even after the big day and the ceremony concludes, these recipes are the perfect memento to reuse at your own regal occasions like helping Mom feel like a Queen this Mother’s Day, or making any bride feel like a Princess at her bridal shower.

For the Love of Cereal: Former Royal Chef Creates Celebratory Recipes
Kellogg’s has partnered with former Royal Chef Darren McGrady to craft celebratory, multicourse breakfast recipes that elevate the viewing party experience. Chef McGrady was personal chef to the royal household for 15 years, and his cookbooks – “Eating Royally: Recipes and Remembrances from a Palace Kitchen” and “The Royal Chef at Home” – now help home chefs entertain with a stately touch.

“There are plenty of ways to add regal flair to a meal, and I’m thrilled to demonstrate that with something as fun and versatile as cereal,” says Chef McGrady. “I hope that when home cooks are recreating this menu, they will be wowed by all of the ways you can reimagine cereal beyond the bowl.”

In celebration of the upcoming royal nuptials, Chef McGrady crafted the can’t-miss multicourse menu of breakfast dishes and teas that are infused with Kellogg’scereals and inspired by wedding festivities. From Stately Scones (Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes scones with Macerated Strawberries with Basil and Whipped Froot LoopsCream), to Imperial Pudding (Kellogg’s Mini-Wheats ‘Bread and Butter’ Chocolate and Banana Pudding), to Majestic Pops (Kellogg’s Froot Loops Caramel Cake Push-Pops) and even Kellogg’s Two Scoops Raisin Bran ‘Lemon Elderflower’ cereal-infused tea for the perfect cuppa – complete recipes and ingredients can be found on Kelloggs.ca.
