Reality Stars To Walk Runway At Mac Duggal’s

NYFW Spring Collection Launch

Last season Mac Duggal made headline news with his body positivity message by integrating regular and plus size models on the runway.  This season Mac has invited several reality stars who have worn his creations on the red carpet to walk the runway at NYFW alongside with professional models.

Surprisingly, although many of these celebrities’ daily lives are seen by millions of people, when asked, they did not initially feel confident walking the biggest fashion stage in the world.  But Mac Duggal convinced them to support the launch of his highly anticipated Spring 2018 collection via the NYFW runway presentation.

This was not the case with Arissa Seagal, star of the new reality series “Growing Up Supermodel” on Lifetime.  Arissa, daughter of famous model Kelly LeBrock and Stephen Seagal immediately stepped up as a plus size model supporting Mac Duggal’s body positivity campaign, “This is Why I’m Fabulous.” Several cast members from the Lifetime series will be in attendance to show their support of Arissa.

Roxy Earle, star of the Bravo series “Real Housewives of Toronto” who is well known throughout Canada for her Body Confidence Activism, jumped at the chance to be part of this event.  Roxy is the only true plus size cast member in all the Housewives series and continually praises Mac Duggal for his body positivity platform.  Her runway appearance is scheduled to be filmed for her series.

In a much appreciated stance of strong support for Mac’s body positive initiatives, Carmen Carrera, model and trans-activist, is also scheduled to attend.

A new E! Entertainments spin-off reality series set to premiere this fall will have the entire cast in attendance.  They will be filming a scheduled episode featuring Mac Duggal and also including a few undisclosed surprises for the viewers and cast.

Several other celebrities and influencers will attend, including former SNL member Joe Piscopo, world class snowboarder Amy Purdy, Lea Robinson and Eseni Ellington Bravo stars of “First Family of Hip Hop”, VH1 “Love and Hip Hop stars Sky Landish and Tahiry Jones, VH1 “Tough Love” series cast members, “Ella Enchanted” author Gale Carson, and  Harlem Globetrotter Jermaine Middleton.

The event will happen at The Angel Orensanz Event Space located at 172 Norfolk Street in New York City on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 5 pm. The show will be streamed live on MacDuggal.com
