Jewelry TV Goes Red

Jewelry Television Supports the American Heart Association®

Throughout the Month of February

Jewelry Television (JTV) announced that it will once again join Go Red For Women in February to support the fight against heart disease. The national jewelry retailer and broadcast network will promote a ‘Love Your Heart’ comprehensive campaign to increase awareness and educate viewers about the risks of heart disease and raise funds for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement. For every purchase from the exclusive 2016 ‘Love Your Heart’ jewelry and gift collection, JTV will donate 10% of the selling price to the American Heart Association.

Jewelry Television® (JTV) is one of the largest multichannel retailers of jewelry and gemstones in the U.S. appealing to fashion-conscious women, jewelry-making enthusiasts and private collectors. The privately-held shopping network broadcasts high definition programing, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to more than 85 million U.S. households.

Committed to consumer education, the network employs numerous Graduate Gemologists and Accredited Jewelry Professionals. JTV.com offers the most comprehensive jewelry and gemstone Learning Library on the Internet, and is the fifth largest jewelry website according to Internet Retailer’s Top 500 Guide for 2015.

JTV is also making it easy for viewers to join the ‘Love Your Heart’ initiative, with several additional opportunities to participate and show support for the cause:

  • Tune in to JTV on National Wear Red Day (February 5) for a special 24-hr Love Your Heart Day event. Donate $5 or more on February 5 to receive a promotional Love Your Heart offer on any purchase for the day.
  • Contribute $5 or more to JTV’s ‘Love Your Heart’ fund February 6 – 29 and receive a $10 promotional offer to use on a JTV purchase in March. Funds raised will go directly to Go Red For Women and help fund important research and educational programs.
  • Learn about the risk factors and symptoms of heart disease. Visit JTV.com/gored to learn how you can be heart healthy.

“Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year – more than all cancers combined, and many women are unaware of the signs and symptoms,” said Tim Matthews, CEO of JTV. “The majority of our viewers are women so we are thrilled to help Go Red For Women raise awareness on the importance of knowing the risks of heart disease and stroke. Thanks to our customers we’ve raised more than $375,000 for the American Heart Association since 2011 and we are looking forward to helping even more this year.”
