Offer Female Veterans A Special Valentine

Benefit Cosmetics is saluting female veterans on Valentine’s Day in a very special way.

On Saturday, February 14th 2015, Benefit Cosmetics (www.benefitcosmetics.com), the San Francisco feel-good cosmetic brand founded on the philosophy that “laughter is the best cosmetic,” is joining hands & hearts with the not-for-profit organization OPERATION REINVENT (www.operationreinvent.org).

On Valentine’s Day, female veterans, who have currently served in the military, will receive a complimentary ‘Mini-Makeover’ in all Benefit Boutiques and Benefit Brow Bars across the U.S.

“A woman is most beautiful when she is laughing and smiling,” says Benefit Global Beauty Authority, Maggie Ford Danielson. “Benefit Cosmetics has been making women feel good about themselves for over 38 years. We help women feel good on the inside, so that they feel stronger on the outside!  Studies have shown that women equipped with healthy self-esteem and appearance reflects an inner confidence. Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to focus on women in our immediate or surrounding lives who we want to celebrate.”

OPERATION REINVENT is a comprehensive national program that supports women veterans in their challenging transition from the military to civilian careers, jobs and lives.  “Never before has the Department of Veterans Affairs faced so many women who served in combat roles as they have in recent conflicts,” OPERATION REINVENT Founder Julie Lewit-Nirenberg, explains.  “That’s where we come in!   The women vets who participate in OPERATION REINVENT receive preparation for job interviews, empowerment coaching, tips on fashion and professional guidance, tools and resources,” she adds.  “The skills and tips that these women are sure to acquire thanks to the Benefit Cosmetics beauty experts will help them as they transition from military life to become happy, productive civilians in the workplace and in the community.”

Benefit Cosmetics is recognized for its instant beauty solutions, world famous professional brow grooming services, fun, laughter and a whole lotta’ gorgeous. “Benefit celebrates being ultra-feminine while saluting the bold, something our female veterans can relate to,” Ford Danielson continues.  “On Valentine’s Day, for one day only, veterans can drop in, no appointment necessary, to any one of our Boutiques and Brow Bars and receive a complimentary makeup experience  to help them look and feel good – – with  confidence and a smile!”
