Hollywood’s Emmy-nominated Elite Attend

Variety Studio Powered by Samsung Galaxy 

Hollywood’s leading television actors and actresses gathered May 29 for intimate and insightful conversation at the Variety Studio: Powered by Samsung Galaxy®.  Actors from the drama Emmy category conducted interviews with Variety’s leading television and special issues reporters, enhancing Variety’s already comprehensive coverage of awards season.  Interviews will appear in print in Variety’s new weekly edition and videos will stream on Variety.com beginning June 4.

This year’s Variety Studio: Powered by Samsung Galaxy was located at the Palihouse Hotel in West Hollywood.  Samsung incorporated the brand’s latest devices into the event with the Galaxy S® 5 and the Galaxy Note® Pro tablet.

At the event, behind-the-scenes photos were captured via the Galaxy S 5’s 16-megapixel camera and were displayed on a Samsung tablet wall in the Samsung Galaxy Portrait Gallery.

Additionally, the Galaxy S 5 was used to capture guests answering questions submitted by fans via social media. Variety Twitter followers could submit questions for guests to answer via Twitter prior to the event.

Since its inception in 2008, The Variety Studio has hosted filmmakers, television creators and showrunners and leading actors for in-depth conversations at film festivals and during awards season events in Hollywood.
