In-Store Event Celebrates Stanley Cup Win

On Tuesday, June 17, the Macy’s store at the Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks,CA hosted an exclusive shopping event featuring Marian Gaborik from the Los Angeles Kings to celebrate the Kings’ 2014 Stanley Cup championship win.
This is the second Stanley Cup victory for the Kings in 3 years – their first win being in 2012. Right winger Marian Gaborik was recruited for the 2013-2014 season with the LA Kings and fortunately he was a part of the winning team his first year aboard.
The event took place on the 2nd floor in the Men’s department and offered the first 200 customers who made a $35.00 or more purchase of officially licensed team merchandise in store an opportunity to meet and have Gaborik sign their merchandise. Fans waited for over an hour for a chance to speak with Gaborik and applaud him on his recent win.
