DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT: FINELL

LUXURY LEATHER HANDBAGS

One of our favorite collections from this Fall’s Paris shows came in the form of a structured, simple and chic luxury accessory brand, when modern lifestyle brand Finell launched its first collection of luxury handbags and small leather goods.

The collection introduces eye-catching geometric silhouettes, drawing from origami to create folding, faceted forms. Crafted of premium leather, the bags are made using a unique process to create rigid yet flexible angular panels. They feature durable microfiber interiors and matte black hardware details. This initial collection offers five bag styles and several accessories, available in a range of neutral colors and a cobalt blue.

There are 5 bag styles for consumers to choose from: clutch, tote, satchel, shoulder bag, and crossbody (not currently pictured). 3 styles of small goods: coin purse, zip pouch and wallet.  The Spring/Summer ’15 colors include: Black, Nude, Clay, Bone, Black gold and Cobalt.
All Finell bags are designed them to be user-friendly, with comfort in mind. They are light weight and flexible, but also have utilize a proprietary internal structure that will keep the panels rigid even after they are well worn in.  A video on the brand’s Instagram page brilliantly illustrates this: http://instagram.com/finellco).
The bags are made with premium top grain leathers, with microfiber lining for easy cleaning. The satchel also comes with an optional shoulder strap. The tote actually can fold completely flat for easy packing.

In addition to handbags, Finell also plans to show selected samples of a new jewelry collection which will roll out next spring.
