iHEART RADIO THEATER LAUNCHES

IN LOS ANGELES WITH KATY PERRY

Clear Channel Media and Entertainment recently announced its new music and events venue — iHeartRadio Theater Los Angeles located at The Burbank Studios in Burbank, CA.  The iHeartRadio Theater Los Angeles kicked off on Tuesday, October 22 with the Katy Perry iHeartRadio Album Release Party which celebrated the release of her new studio album, PRISM, released the same day. Hosted by on-air talent and TV personality Mario Lopez, the event featured a live performance and Q&A with Katy Perry discussing the behind-the-making of her new album.

The event aired in its entirety live on 175 Clear Channel Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR), Rhythmic CHR, Adult Contemporary (AC) and Hot AC stations around the country and exclusively online at Yahoo Screen (http://screen.yahoo.com/music).  In addition, the party will be televised on The CW Network on Friday, October 25 at 9 p.m. ET.

In addition to the iHeartRadio Album Release Party, Katy Perry took over all Clear Channel CHR radio stations nationwide and on iHeartRadio, in a first-of-its-kind all day promotion, to play her favorite music and tracks from her new album.  Clear Channel Media and Entertainment branded its stations “Katy Perry Radio” for an entire day with Katy Perry herself acting as guest DJ, discussing the album and how it was created.
